Who Do You Love? Valentine's Book Boyfriend Event

Let's face it, we love the boys who reside in the pages of books. And what's not to love? They are daring, funny, charming, strong, courageous and more. It tough not to be swept off your feet. Kathy at I write, I read, I Review is hosting the Who Do You Love? Contest and Give Away. The rules are simple. Tell us which book boy you love and why, and then link back to Kathy's post. You have until the 17th to join the fun.

At first, I was a little stumped. There are tons of book boys who share my heart with my hubby. Then I realized the answer was insanely obvious. Mikhail from Dawn of Darkness! The book is by my writing partner, Daniel A. Kaine and I got to beta read a draft.

O.M.G!!! I was head over heels for Mik. He was a bit brooding, stubborn and closed off at first, but so real. He grew as the story progressed, coming out of his shell and letting people in. He had fears and uncertainties, but that didn't stop him. He struggled through them, overcame obstacles all for Ash. You can't go wrong with a guy who won't give up. When I reached the end of the book, I wanted to reach through the computer and strangle Daniel. My exact words were, "Where's the next book?" The world probably heard me scream NOOOOO! when Daniel said he had to write it yet. In fact, I still think it's not finished. Excuse me, I need to go form a mob to 'encourage' him. (If you want to join the mob, I recommend reading Dawn of Darkness first.)

  1. I so need to read this book! I don't know if you remember, but that's actually how we met in an odd, roundabout way...it was the A-Z Challenge last year, Daniel visited my blog and I visited his in return, and left some comment about self-publishing (this was when I was still considering it), and you visited my blog and said you'd seen my comment on your writing partner's blog and agreed with whatever it was I had said...and the rest, as they say, is history. Hard to believe that's almost a year ago! I'll join the mob as the person who threatens not to read Dawn of Darkness until the next book is ready muahaha.

    1. I remember that! Well, not what was said, but I definitely remember the chain of events. LOL
You're very welcome to join the mob as a person who threatens to to read his book until the next one is ready. =D

  2. I take it Daniel is going into witness protection to avoid being strangled by impatient readers?

    1. Hmm, nope, we'll find him. There is no hiding... at least until he finishes the series. LOL

    2. Don't need to hide. I have myself a Vic to protect me from the more... enthusiastic fans :P

    3. You forget Vic is my bestie and I will appeal to him. Just have to make sure none of the 'enthusiastic' fans leave marks on you. =P
